We're Done! Lets finish up these Calendars....

Well here you go!  The last thing you need to finish up your 2009 Calendar!  I thought it would be cute to do like a year end review and put that on the cover of your Calendar.  I made these to be printed on your home computer at the standard 8.5 x 11 size....but you can have them printed like at Costco, or a place that prints 12x12 and let them crop it to the 8.5 x 11 size if you don't want to print at home.  Please make sure you are happy with the print size before you print them.  There is no margin for professional printing, although I am sure you can just slightly make the .psd file smaller if you want to have them professionally printed.  Just preview to be sure.  Like I said, I printed mine at home on my handy dandy Epson printer and was very happy.  I also planned on using my bind it all to bind them.  I haven't tackled that yet!  You can take them to Kinkos, or a printing place to bind them or use 2 rings to hold them at the top and add ribbon to the rings... Just use your imagination.  And enjoy!  I usually sign off saying His...but I saw on someone's blog... "In His Grip" and loved that so....In His Grip, Teri  :)

My First Love.............

'"Nevertheless, I have this one thing against you, that you left your first love." Rev. 2:4  Now, some of you may be thinking, "What the heck is she talking about?"  Let me explain....I started out my blog as a way for me to share my gifts and talents with others.  While I continue to do that, I have become very busy in my designing and creating, which is not bad in itself..........except, I never want to be so busy that I forget my first Love, Jesus Christ.   I love seeing how the Lord works in my life and in others and I love to share that with people.  So, if I have neglected doing that in any way.......SHAME ON ME!  I love looking at Gods word and seeing how it applies to my every day, day in and day out, activities.  He is always teaching me, and showing me how to be more like Him.  Unfortunately, I don't always learn on the first go around.  I want to finish our walk through the Proverbs 31 woman and then I have a little something for you!  Proverbs 31:30 says that "Favor is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman that fears the Lord, she shall be praised"  Now, I am human, of course, and I like a little pat on the back every now and then ( ok like at least once a day! ).  But who's praise am I really after?  You know, only the eternal things really matter, and so If I am looking for mans praise, well that pat on the back, and maybe a little acknowledgement is all I am going to get, and that will quickly fade into the past.  But those things I do, to please my Lord, well that is a different horse all together ( you know I'm in Texas, right? ).  Those things will last and will be of value to others too!  May I remember this as I go about my daily life, always looking to Him and seeing His hand in my life and then answering His call to share with others, My First Love, Jesus!  Did I hit any nerves with anyone else?  I know it hit home for me.  So, now my friends, here is a little something I am sure many of you have been anxious to get.  It is Decembers calendar.  So this finishes up the year, but i did make a cover layout so, be sure to come back and snag it next week.  Blessings and Grace for today!  His, Teri

And Then There Were Two...

Well we are down to our last two layouts for the calendars.  I will have a cover page for you too, so keep that in mind...Here is the November layout.  It is simple and I left it plain so that you can add your fall photos and embellish them with the kits of  your choice! Personally, I will probably use three photos and put them in the lighter blocks and use some great fall papers for the darker blocks.  But the choice is yours for sure.   I have got to get busy and play catch up on my own layouts!  Have a great weekend!

How Perfect is this?

As many of you have read on my blog, that today was a rough day for me.  I had to put my little 4 1/2 lb. bundle of joy to sleep.  Brighton was a great buddy and I will miss her terribly.  But, how perfect is this?   I made this template over  weeks ago, and planned to post it this week as I have all the other templates.  Now, I dont believe things happen by chance, but did you notice, the word art I chose for this month?  I was so blessed when I saw it!  And it was just a little hug from the Lord, to know that He knew I would need a little more grace today and so, as He is faithful, I bring you October's template.  And  as you see this, just remember that the Lord not only knew that I would need encouragement today, but that He, too, knows what your needs are today.  So, cast all your cares on Him, for He cares for you! 1Peter5:7  Oh, and I have some GREAT news to share, just not yet, so today has been bittersweet for me!  I will let you know why I am so excited real soon!  His, Teri  Oh, yeah.  Thanks to all who left comments to me today.  :)

Time Marches On!

Here is my July Calendar.  July is special because my Hubbys birthday is on the 4th of July!  Like I have said before, he is my little firecracker.  If you think this calendar looks familiar its because this is the template I gave away as a freebie a few days ago.  I used Angel Wings & Things Memorial Day kit to create mine.  I am sure the kit is still available on her blog so if you want it, go over and snag it from her.  As our time marches on, toward the end of these calendar freebies, so our time marches on also.  Let's make sure we are living each day to the fullest and also to glorify the Lord to the best of our ability!  After all, our times are in HIS hands!   His, Teri :)

We are at the Half Way mark on our Calendars!

 June 2009_png

Just because I am traveling this week, don't think I forgot about you gals.  And so, here you go...is this not the cutest ?  I love it.  I used Summer Vacation by Creations by Rachael to make this layout.  I hope you are keeping up with creating these calendars for Christmas gifts.  You are gonna thank me come November and you already have it completed!  This month is a little simpler in its design and I did that on purpose, so that you can add elements to dress yours up.  Click on the preview to get the template.  Go to Pretty Scrappy to check out Rachaels kit at http://prettyscrappy.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=84_102&products_id=915

May Flowers? Here is My May 2009 Calendar

Preview

Here is another addition to my 2009 Calendar.  I personally used Jessica Edwards "Bye, Bye, Birdie" kit to decorate mine.  Her kit is available at Digital Paper Hearts  at  http://www.digitalpaperhearts.com/ .  For my calendar, you will get the .psd file and you can add what ever papers and elements you want.  I have used my favorite scripture on this month.  Maybe because of being spared by hurricane Ike, but I am grateful to know that I can trust in Him, because my times are in his hands.   Speaking of my hands..........There are gonna be busier these days. I have taken on a couple more designers who have asked me to be on thier Creative Teams.  Be sure to go to my side bar and check out their stores.  I really enjoy this side of creating so it works out great for me, and all have agreed to let me put freebies on my blog so it will work out great for you too!   Some of the QP's that I created for them may only be available for a few days on my blog, so if I post one that has that stipulation on it I will let you know, but just giving you a heads up that if I say, "limited time only" grab it while you can!  Its a "Happy Day" for me because I am going to my grandson's 4th birthday party.  So take care and have a great day!  Baskets of  blessings, Teri

2009 Calendar Template for March and Some Exciting News for Me!

So as promised, here is the third in my 2009 Calendar templates. I really like the circles in this one...kinda look like flowers. I wasn't sure on my photos, so those can come later! The main thing is to get busy on our calendars so we wont be stressed to get them completed if we want to give them for gifts for the holidays. They are all fantastic and will open up lots of new creative things that I can share with you all! So a big thank- you to these gals for believing in me enough to let me create for them. Please go to there blogs and say thanks if you like what I do. I will post there information on my blog but here are there addys... http://prettyscrappy.com/ and http://jaydensmamadesigns.blogspot.com/ and of course http://angelwingsnthings.blogspot.com/. Time Flies.....8 1/2 x 11 Calendar Template

Have you noticed how fast this summer has come and is quickly going? It is just flying by, school is just around the corner. If you have been to the stores latley you should have noticed the fall stuff already on the shelves and Christmas will be here before we know it. I love to give personalized gifts to my friends and family. This digi-scrapbooking world opens up so many possibilities. My daughter in law has for the past several years given us a special calendar of our grandson for christmas. It is a gift I always look forward to. I stumbled on a blog, Simply Sarah's. She had a darling calendar and I scraplifted it to make one for 2009 that I can share with all my "peeps" here on my blog. I contacted her to make sure it was ok. She said no problem. If you get a chance, go over and check out her blog. I love her layouts. Simple but really well done. http://simplysarahdesigns.blogspot.com/ . Anyway, so I am going to post one each week for the next 12 weeks and that way you can work on one month at a time and not be overwhelmed. And you can get a jump-start on some of your Christmas gifts. Thats crazy right, to be thinking about Christmas gifts already. So without further ado...here is January 2009! I love having the word art on the callendars. A great reminder of His faithfulness! Go make some memories to share. Blessings and Grace, Teri

Here is my January 09 finished layout. I used Charleston by christinabrowndesigns.com. The layouts are so easy to throw together and you can just change the pictures if you wanted to, to give to more than one person. Now who wouldnt like to get a personalized calendar as a gift? Happy Scrappin' Teri
